MEET OUR HORSES!

Below is some information on each of our horses here at Wide Bay Equestrian Park. Our horses are forever joining us and leaving us after some training for our students to carry through to enjoy. Keep checking back to see our latest additions. (Some are here to forever stay).

GHERULLA JACANA-
Jacana is a purebred Spanish Andalusian, brought as Susan's private horse, she has competed (& successfully so) at State & National Levels, she has produced many beatiful offspring (please see FOR SALE PAGE). She is used in the riding school for the advanced students to learn the dressage manovures.

CORPORATE LAW MAKER/SUIT (C.J)-
CJ is a purebred Thoroughbred yet another rescue by us from the dogger pens. Talk around the sale yard pens, people tried to warn people off from buying him. "he bolts" "he's crazy" are just some of the remarks we heard, but we saw past that and such a remarkable horse he is!
According to his brand. he is 12 years old and has had a racing career, since picking up his weight & some training he has come to join Keira's horses. His love for jumping has been brought to light with training.

BAROQUE SALENTA-
Salenta is a purebred andalusian (dam is Australian, sire is spanish). She is 7 going on 8 years old and is one of Keiras horses . Started lightly in competition work in 2010 and taking home Reserve National Champion. She is used in the riding school and is a fantastic asset!
 

 

 

 

 

CURRAHEE ALLUSION-
Ally is a purebred Australian Stock horse, bred by local breeders- her travels have not taken her away from the Fraser Coast. Ally was brought almost 10 years ago to join our herd as a Pony Clubbing/Competition horse for daughter Tahnee McLeod. She has successfully competed at many levels, her ease to be handled by all levels of riders has brought her into the riding school. Ally is a one in a million horse and is also a favourite!
 

 

 

 

 

BAROQUE SIGARVY CINDY-
Siglarvy is a purebred Lipizzana gelding, bred by us on our property his dam and sire has gone onto state & national level competition and successfully. Siglarvy is yet to be broken in, and shown.

BAROQUE JACINTA
A daughter for Jacana, and an Aunty to Baroque Salenta (above)Jacinta has the same great personality! Born bay her colouring is slowly starting to grey, and will be completley so once fully matured. Jacinta's mane and tail is thick and long, which will be absolutley stunning once grey!
Jactinta is broken in.  Walk, trot, canter, trot poles, cavaletties are all a breeze!
She is one of the favourites!
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

CARLOS
Carlos was recently purchased by the school unbroken.
He will begin his breaking in at the end of August, he is nice and quiet which should see him brought into the stable activities and the riding school at a later date.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ZAC
Zac is a Thoroughbred and is currently in training by Keira. Working on some dressage and jumping the hopes for this boy are to enter some competitions in 2016!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ELI
Eli is also one of the many Thoroughbreds here at Wide Bay Equestrian Park. 10years old going on 11.
His prior showjumping history makes him a horse that some of our riders can work
on their jumping aspirations with. His willingness to please makes him a great asset to our stables.
Eli is currently on lease for the riding school as well as for some training.
He is one of the favourites!
